ASTRIDA
Astrida Valigorsky is a former New York City creative director turned performance photographer. Born in Baltimore and raised in Western Massachusetts, she spent years designing websites for consumer brands before discovering live music photography in 2015, when a festival photo pass favor led her to pick up a rental camera and start shooting. Over10 years later that same festival still welcomes her coverage.
Since then, she has documented more than 65 festivals and over 1,600 acts. She contributes to Getty Images, Shutterstock, ZUMA Press, and No Depression, with work published on television, in print, and online. Her photos have appeared in The New York Times, New York Magazine, People, Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, Billboard, NME, GQ, Ebony, Essence, Esquire, Forbes, Hearst Magazines, Der Spiegel, Teen Vogue, Vulture, W, as well as in lots of newspapers and blogs.
